Client Vault expands to 17 languages: 6 new ones for your Asian clients

By Dragan Stamenkovic 7 min de lecture
Annonce de 17 langues sur Client Vault avec drapeaux internationaux.

In brief : Client Vault expands from 11 to 17 languages. Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, and Vietnamese join the vault — Chinese and Japanese at the direct request of clients, integrated very quickly. Each client chooses their language in their space : the interface and emails follow automatically. Nothing to install, nothing extra to pay — it’s included in the plugin.

The idea is simple : your client should feel at home in their vault. Not in your language — in theirs. With this update, Client Vault now supports 17 languages, and each of your clients can use their own, simultaneously, on the same site. Here’s what’s changing, how it works, and why two of these languages were born directly from client requests.

What’s changing : from 11 to 17 languages

Six new languages are joining the vault, and not minor ones : by themselves, they cover a significant part of Asia.

  • 繁體中文 — Traditional Chinese (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau)
  • 简体中文 — Simplified Chinese (Mainland China, Singapore)
  • 日本語 — Japanese
  • 한국어 — Korean
  • Bahasa Indonesia — Indonesian
  • Tiếng Việt — Vietnamese

These are in addition to the 11 languages already available : French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, and Hindi. Arabic and Hebrew are naturally displayed from right to left. The complete overview is on the multilingual page, and the version-by-version details are on the public changelog.

And this is not just a superficial translation : each language covers the complete client area, all 74 email templates, and all notifications. More than 6 500 texts translated per language, using industry-specific vocabulary — a vault remains a vault, a journey remains a journey.

This wave extends the major quality project recounted in the previous major update — 11 languages, flawless emails, and a sharp interface : first making each language impeccable, then adding new ones. In that order.

How it works for your clients

It’s the simplest to explain : your client chooses their language with a single click, directly within their space. From there, everything follows — their interface, emails, notifications. They have nothing else to configure, and neither do you.

Each client has their own language. Your client from Taipei reads their vault in Traditional Chinese while your client from Lisbon reads theirs in Portuguese — on the same site, at the same time. And you, on your end, keep your administration language : your clients’ language does not affect yours.

A small detail that matters : in the selector, each language is displayed in its own script, followed by its translation (” 한국어 — Korean “). Even an alphabet you don’t read remains recognizable at a glance.

What this means for you

If you work with international clients — expatriates, investors, students, export partners — you know the problem : a document space in a language the client doesn’t master means back-and-forth communication, missing documents, and friction. A vault in their own language means an autonomous client who uploads their documents without needing your assistance.

For professionals and agencies targeting an international clientele, it’s also a direct sales argument: you offer each client a secure space in their language, hosted by you — something few competitors can do without subscribing to a third-party service.

Client-requested, delivered promptly

Traditional Chinese and Japanese didn’t come out of nowhere: they are direct client requests — including a client in Taiwan for Chinese — submitted on the public roadmap, in the ‘proposed’ column. I integrated them very quickly: they are now in the ‘delivered’ column, and four other languages have followed suit. This is exactly how the roadmap should work: a client expresses a need useful to the greatest number, it is studied, then delivered.

Are you missing a language? Suggest it directly from the roadmap, in two clicks. I read everything, and I keep what makes the vault better for all users.

17 languages, always hosted by you

One thing remains unchanged, and will never change: the 17 languages are embedded in the plugin. No online translation service, no calls to a cloud, no subscription. Your texts, your documents, and your exchanges remain on your hosting, in your WordPress, under your sole ownership. The language changes; sovereignty does not.

Next step

If you have clients who would be more comfortable in their own language, update your plugin and let them choose: it’s immediate. If you are discovering Client Vault, check out the offers and pricing — the 17 languages are included, without an option — or let’s book a video demo to see it live.

Frequently asked questions

What are the 17 languages of Client Vault?

French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. Arabic and Hebrew display from right to left.

How does my client choose their language ?

With a single click, directly in their space, via the language selector. Their interface, emails, and notifications immediately switch to the chosen language. Each client can have a different language on the same site.

Are emails translated too ?

Yes. The 74 email templates and all notifications are sent in the client’s language — invitation, document requests, reminders, step validation… More than 6,500 texts are translated per language.

Do I need to install a module or pay extra ?

No. The 17 languages are integrated into the plugin, without extensions, without subscription to a translation service, without extra cost. A plugin update is sufficient.

Does my administration language change ?

No. The language chosen by a client only concerns their space and emails. You keep your usual administration language, and each client keeps theirs.

Can I request a missing language ?

Yes, from the public Client Vault roadmap. Traditional Chinese and Japanese were requested by clients there before being delivered very quickly. I prioritize languages useful to the largest number of users.
