What exactly is Client Vault?

A WordPress plugin that transforms your site into a client vault. Each client receives a private, encrypted (AES-256) space where they can upload their documents, track the stages of their assignment, and receive your deliverables. Everything stays on your server, under your brand.

Is it a WordPress plugin or a SaaS?

100% WordPress plugin. No external cloud, no database on our end, and no file proxying. You install the zip file, you activate it, and it is on your site — period.

Who is Client Vault for?

For professionals who receive or produce sensitive documents: lawyers, chartered accountants, brokers, real estate agencies, Qualiopi trainers, coaches, paramedical professionals, freelancers, and agencies. 8 industries featured, covering over 200 professions.

Why not use Notion, Drive, or WeTransfer?

Three concrete reasons:

  • Sovereignty — Notion/Drive/WeTransfer host your data in the United States. Client Vault runs on your WordPress, therefore within your hosting provider’s country.
  • Enforceability — A Drive folder lacks a timestamped log to the millisecond. Client Vault provides this.
  • Branding — A drive.google.com/… link will never look as professional as a yourdomain.com/clients/martin link.
What does Client Vault NOT do?

No integrated payment. No electronic signature. No accounting. Client Vault is a vault + a journey orchestrator: for everything else, Client Vault integrates with your stack. See the integration section for more details.

How many features are there in total?

145 native features. 391 in Solo (the vault), 525 added by Pro (journeys, LMS, community, statistics). The Features page details every atom, classified by category.

What is the real difference between Solo and Pro?

Solo = the vault. Encrypted client portal, document requests, one-click validation, timestamped log, 12 transactional emails.

Pro = Solo + scripted journeys (steps, milestones, gatekeepers, feedback) + 10 connected LMS + Fluent Community + 25 additional emails + progress statistics.

When should I upgrade from Solo to Pro?

As soon as you have a repeatable deliverable (audit, file, standard mission, training) and the disconnect between steps causes you to lose time. Or as soon as you want to sell a training course/curriculum with measurable step-by-step tracking.

How does the Solo → Pro migration work?

You are replacing your Solo license key with the Pro key: no data loss, no reinstallation, no downtime. Your existing client vaults remain intact, and the Pathway modules are activated in addition.

Does Solo allow for multiple clients?

Yes — unlimited. Solo manages an unlimited number of clients in separate vaults. What changes with Pro is the addition of guided pathways and the training/LMS dimension.

Does Pro really include everything that Solo has?

Yes. Pro = Solo + Pro extensions. No Solo functionality is removed. If you choose Pro, you keep the entire Solo vault.

Which Pro features are the most useful on a daily basis?

Three points of feedback keep coming up: (1) guided pathways (the client always knows where they stand), (2) automatic reminders for inactive steps (never have to chase people by email again), (3) LMS mapping that unlocks the next lesson as soon as a document is validated.

Where is the data stored?

On your WordPress server. No copies are stored with us, and there is no external cloud. If your host is in France (OVH, o2switch etc.) or abroad (Infomaniak, Hostinger, PlanetHoster…), your data remains in France. In Canada, Switzerland, anywhere — it is your choice of host that decides.

Which encryption?

AES-256 at rest for files. HMAC-SHA256 to sign webhooks and download tokens (short-lived, anti-replay signed URLs). The keys reside in your wp-config.php, meaning on your server, never with us.

Do you have access to my data?

No. No content telemetry, no back-and-forth tunnel to our servers. The only thing Client Vault calls home is license verification (~1x/month, HMAC-signed). We never see your files or your clients.

How can I export my data?

“Export” button in the back-office: zip of all files + CSV of metadata. Exported files can be decrypted with your WP site key. No vendor lock-in.

Clients can also export their own data.
Compliant with GDPR, professional secrecy, Qualiopi, Hoguet?

Yes by design: data lives on your server, you remain the data controller, and the timestamped log meets audit requirements (Qualiopi 7 criteria, Hoguet for real estate, professional secrecy for legal/medical). See the Industry page for compliance details by profession.

What if the hosting provider goes down or I want to leave?

You maintain full control from start to finish. Back up your WordPress site as usual (your host often does this automatically). Restoring the vault means restoring a standard WordPress site. No platform to contact, no support to beg for.

How long does installation take?

3 minutes on average. Upload the zip, activate, enter the license, and that’s it. No third-party services to configure, no databases to provision.

What are the WordPress/PHP requirements?

WordPress 6.4 minimum (tested up to 6.7). PHP 7.4 minimum. Recommended: PHP 8.1+, 256 MB memory, 64 MB max upload.

Compatible with Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Oxygen?

Yes. Client Vault provides Gutenberg blocks and shortcodes that can be used in Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Oxygen, Beaver Builder, and Kadence Blocks. Styles inherit from your theme configured in Client Vault.

Conflicts with other plugins?

No conflicts identified with the top 50 (WooCommerce, Yoast, Rank Math, WP Rocket, Wordfence, etc.). Compatible with Loco Translate to add an untranslated language. Native integrations tested with FluentCRM, Fluent Community, and over 50 other plugins.

Which hosts are supported?

99% of French hosts: OVH, o2switch, Hostpoint. Also: Kinsta, WP Engine, SiteGround. For o2switch+ImunifyAV, Infomaniak, Hostinger, PlanetHoster, we keep all plugin PHP files under 600 KB (known scanner limit).

Does the plugin work with a custom theme?

Yes. Everything works as long as WordPress remains WordPress. If you want a ready-to-use design, the official Client Vault theme is included and highly customizable to match your brand

Which LMS are supported?

10 LMS with native integration: LearnDash, LifterLMS, Sensei, TutorLMS, Academy LMS, LearnPress, MasterStudy, WP Courseware, Masteriyo, Fluent Community. Automatic link between journey steps and LMS lessons: a validated step unlocks the next one.

FluentCRM compatible?

Yes — native integration within Fluent CRM. Client Vault exposes 2 actions (enroll/unenroll) + 7 triggers (Enrolled, Unenrolled, Step completed, Feedback, Milestone, Gatekeeper validation, etc.). Your FluentCRM automations then apply YOUR tags / YOUR sequences according to YOUR rules.

Fluent Community compatible?

Yes — discussion areas by pathway, M:N mapping of pathways to groups, and contextualized sidebar widgets (online members, progress, citations, tips, ranking). Strict affiliation: a member only sees the groups corresponding to THEIR pathways.

Which agendas / calendars?

Native: Amelia, FluentBooking, The Events Calendar. Iframe: Calendly, Cal.com, TidyCal, Google Calendar, MS Bookings, SavvyCal, Lunacal. Generic iframe mode for any other appointment booking service.

REST API, webhooks?

Documented WordPress REST API and 28+ HMAC SHA-256 signed webhooks (vault creation, file upload, step validated, pathway completed, feedback, etc.). Everything is on the Developers page, with payload examples.

Compatible with Zapier, Make, n8n?

Yes, via HMAC webhooks. For email/CRM workflows, FluentCRM is the most direct integration (native in Fluent CRM). Zapier/Make/n8n are perfect for connecting Client Vault to the rest of your stack (Notion, Airtable, Gmail, etc.).

What are the available offers?

Annual or lifetime?

Annual = updates + support for 1 year, renewable. Lifetime = one-time payment with no renewal for life. Lifetime updates are available for 36 months, after which a subscription of 129€/year is applied to continue receiving updates and new features. No volume-based overage charges (clients, files, GB).

What exactly is included in the Agency Pack?

Multi-site (5 / 15 / 50 depending on the tier), white-label licenses, centralized management console, optional managed hosting, and margins on resale. Details on the Partners & Resellers page.

How many sites does a license cover?

Solo and Pro: 1 site per license. If you want to equip multiple sites (your clients, your sub-brands), the Agency Pack is the right fit for you.

Payment methods?

Credit card (secured via Stripe). SEPA bank transfer is available for Agency Packs. A compliant invoice is generated automatically with every payment.

Demo before purchase?

Yes — video demo on request for agencies. We show you Client Vault using a real-world case study relevant to your field, you ask your questions, then you decide. The purchase is final: no free trial, no post-purchase evaluation period — the demo is exactly for that purpose.

How to get support?

Three channels: (1) online knowledge base (docs + video tutorials + FAQ), (2) email support ticket, (3) Client Vault community. The available channel depends on your plan.

What is the response time?

Standard email: 48 business hours. Agency Pack: SLA 24h/48h business hours + priority channel.

Is support included in the price?

Yes — for the entire duration of your license. No hidden costs per ticket, no paywall for bugs.

Automatic updates?

Yes, via the standard WordPress channel (admin → Updates). You retain control: possibility to defer, test in staging, or freeze a version during an audit.

Backward compatibility, breaking changes?

Strict SemVer: minor / patch versions never break the API, shortcodes, or blocks. A new MAJOR version (rare) is announced in advance with a migration guide and a dual-compatibility period.

Can I offer Client Vault to my own clients?

Yes—it is the core use case of the Agency Pack. You manage the licenses, potential hosting, and services. You bill YOUR clients under YOUR brand. Three-pillar business model: license margin + recurring hosting fees + premium services.

Complete white labeling?

Yes: logo, name, colors, transactional emails, and legal notices are all customizable from the back office. Your clients do not see Client Vault—they see your brand on your domain. You can also customize Client Vault to match your client’s branding.

What are the margins on the Agency Pack?
