A “review meeting” step blocked until the client has booked. Once booked, the step displays the time slot.

At the scheduled time, the step automatically switches to “completed” — no need to click it manually.

Onboarding in 3 appointments: each one unlocks the next. The calendar only offers slots after the previous one.

Frequently asked questions
How is the step automatically validated?
At the time of booking, the step status changes to “scheduled.” At the appointment time, a Client Vault cron job switches it to “completed,” unless it has been cancelled.
What if the client cancels their appointment?
The step reverts to “to be planned”. The client is invited to choose a new time slot via the same calendar.
Can I block the unlocking of subsequent steps until the appointment has taken place?
Yes. You configure the appointment step as “blocking” — subsequent steps remain locked until this one is completed.
Does the calendar display directly within the vault?
Yes. For native calendars (Bookly, Amelia), the time slot selector is integrated into the step. For external ones, it is displayed via an iframe.
What about the time zone?
The calendar respects the client’s time zone (auto-detected by the browser). Validation timestamps are in UTC and converted to each user’s time zone.
